„How we talk about others says more about us than it does about them.“ In shit talk, Pure Chlorine describes the phase in which she started taking antidepressants. In the song, she talks about the changes that come with the medication, but also how others react to those changes. „In the meantime, I have reached a point where I feel good about myself, even if I need medication for it, and I can finally say: Who cares. You can talk behind my back. I may have changed, but I feel better this way. I’m not going to fool anyone anymore.“
